Homework

Desert View Intermediate Student Homework Page

This page is the homework for Desert View students during grades 3, 4 and 5. Because there are many music lessons and music concepts to learn here, this homework is not due right away so  incoming students will have three years to complete these lessons. It is recommended that each student watch one lesson per week, in order to finish this list.

Music class at Desert View follows State of Arizona and National Required Music Standards. Music instruction at Desert View is academic in nature, and incorporates Math, English, Science, Social Studies, Life Skills, P.E. and Art all into a comprehensive study program, to assist students in linking together these subjects into one class. Some of the lessons below illustrate how music is used in the world of education to assist in learning all subjects and how subjects integrate.
The following lessons cover required information for Desert View students to learn while attending music class in grades 3, 4 and 5. The first videos posted here are for all students. By scrolling down the page, you can find advanced videos for 4th and 5th graders.

These videos may or may not be shown in regular music class, but by learning the content on these lessons, students will be able to pass the 5th grade Desert View Music Class exit exam. It is advised that students check this page regularly, as more videos will be added to help you in your studies.
